tiffany1908's Journal, 28 July 2018

Hi FS family, I need your help. I am exhausted from keto WOE. Some days I don’t want to eat because I’m just tired of trying to get all the fat in and reducing the carbs. At my highest I was 175 I need a WOE that does not drain me and that is sustainable for me. I miss my fruit as well. I would love your suggestions.

Hi Tiffany! My target macros are 35/40/25, which allows for lots of variety and healthy choices. I lose weight slowly and painlessly, which is what works for me - and I can't wait to start my food diary every day to see how I might manipulate my available foods to maximize my weight loss!! Don't know if that helps, but I def wish you the best! 👍😊

tracking food and calories on any diet can be a pain. If it is not for you, then try just eating healthy balanced meals and increase your exercise. avoid high carb refined foods to help you with reducing your calories. so many choices out there. Many folks are just doing this formula and doing well.

start slowly incorporating fruit and other complex carbs back into your diet, that should give you a little more energy

Berries are your best bet for fruit I can have 1/4 cup a day without throwing me out of the zone. But with the intermittent fasting my stomach has shrunk so it does not seem like a limit (just a measurement for the counter). Easy fats... Heavily herbed butter is an easy fat. I either have it on raw veggies or cook my veggies in it. OH and don't forget the bacon grease Mayonnaise.... (TO DIE FOR) AND if you add in ( to your diet not the mayo) a portion of 40%Heavy whipping cream (Whipped) makes a beautiful base for the berries! Hope you stick around... will be nice sharing with you.

Hi, I'm sorry your tired. I briefly looked at your food journal, and you are not doing keto properly. Your carbs are very high and watermelon, Swedish fish etc doesn't work. That said, if it's not you for you or you don't have blood sugar, health problems, there is no sense if you can't stick to the 20 carbs to get into ketosis. Hang in there and you'll have good input from others 👍 good luck!

I kept trying different diets until I found one that worked for me.

try mixing things up a bit? use a protein, fat, carb combo that gives you enough calories and satisfying food choices. this needs to be a WOL (way of life) as well as a WOE. 😳

Try steaks or fish with its full fat . Use fat bombs using erythritol helps a ton when you want something sweet or desert like. it helps change things up.
