Conan likes his new food. Is Conan a pet?

Conan is my 90 lb(ish) American Bulldog. He has food and skin allergies that have flared up pretty bad this summer/spring. We just switched him to a raw diet by Nature's Variety. 4th food this summer/spring. Probably his 15th overall. Poor guy has bad back knees (since he was 1 1/2), 1 eye (since he was 4 1/2 months), just started getting hot spots now about 2 months ago, & allergies and a very sensitive stomach. And is a whimp. But he is a love bug. :-)

Ahhh...one of my Bengal cats had skin allergies and we even took him to a Vet Dermatologist...he got a medication for a while; but then seemed to grow out of it. Doctor said it wasn't the food but once we out him on grain free food it all cleared up! The pets eat better than we do at our house! Hmmm, probaby should learn from that...

He doesn't have any grain or dairy. Always a single source protein. He also has diaherra issues so no chicken, venison, bison, duck. Fish worked best for his stomach, but his rash was getting worse. We tried the medication and it helped the first time but not the second. The vet said that because it didn't totally respond...it was food mixed with environment. Can't do anything about the mold on the leaves...so we are searching for a food that helps. Heard some great things about raw food for dogs/cats. Hears hoping!

My hubby has seen me at my absolute worst (c-section, postpartum bleeding, tonsillectomy, you name it) and still likes me. Go figure? But I think he probably knows I put up with his weirdness/grossness too. I hope you & Conan feel much better!

I think I am just catching on. The thankfulness journal entry is a requirement for our new challenge - right? Mental note to construct my attitude of gratitude list also. Your list is nice! Such sweet affection for your pup! Such sweet admiration & appreciation for your hubby!
