Hang in there...I bet your loss will show big over the next couple weeks. You know how our weight fluctuates, especially when you are developing muscle. I am proud of you for going to Curves! I have one 2 miles from me. Do you like it? I've thought about checking it out.

I so understand! I began going to the gym for serious workouts this week--6 days out of 7--and my weight is not budging either! It will pay off in a better body..patience...patience..patience!

aw, sweetie, don't be sad! I am really frustrated too. So if it makes you feel better, you're catching up to me without doing anything. ;) you're doing awesome and are probably growing muscles. hugs!

I've read that can happen during an increase in exercise. Like KellyBo said you should see it start to come off fast once your body adusts to your new routine. That new muscle your building will start to burn off more calories. You've done great! I'm starting at a weight very close to your starting weight and my first goal is to get back into the 100's. I see you're already there. I am so psyched about not seeing that 2 on the scale anymore. That's got to be a great feeling!.

When you have any kind of increase in exercise, your muscles retain water to repair themselves. It is temporary. Drink extra water and keep working out. Exercise will help shrink your body. Is it better to be 150 pounds and a size 4 or a 140lbs and a size 6. I'd take the smaller size any day. Just keep going!

I know from reading everyone's journals over the past few months and from my own experience that increased exercise (especially a new exercise) often results in an initial weight gain. You are not alone. But fear not, this is only temporary and you will see positive results very soon. Don't give up on the exercise. Exercise is your friend!

I know it's frustrating, but like the others have said, this is a common phenomenon and you will get results soon. You're doing a great thing for your health and ultimately for your weight loss - keep it up!! GO TRAILBLAZERS!!!

Same thing basically happened to me this week too. I think we will see the numbers drop in the next week or two. We just have to stay focused and keep doing what we know is right for our health. The rewards will follow. *GO TRAIL BLAZERS!*
