Maintenance is going okay. I weighed-in yesterday but forgot to record it here.
Lately I'm staying within a 1 pound range up and down. That seems pretty stable. My body seems to like staying at this weight which gives me a buffer below my goal weight of approximately 4lbs. That is good for me mentally. I don't hesitate to have small, unexpected, 'spur of the moment' treats but also know I can't do it too often. I eat less healthy on weekends, but keep the portions small. I absolutely can't believe I have maintained my weight for so many months. I am cautiously optimistic that my life has truly changed.

I have plenty of loose skin, but look okay in clothes. I consider it a reminder that I was responsible for the weight that stretched out my skin and I'm also responsible for my healthy weight now. I am still surprised when I look in the mirror and shopping for clothes is fun. I have a closet of clothes that all fit and are all one size. That has never happened before in my entire life!

For anyone struggling, I encourage you to find in your heart what you need to do to reach your goal. Be kind to yourself and do what works for you. Life is short so don't be unhappy during your weight loss phase. You might lose days you can never get back. Being thin hasn't solved all of my problems, but it is a relief not to have it 'hanging over my head' every single day. I'm not self conscious about my body and the pain in my joints is mostly gone. That alone, is something I'm grateful for every day.

Hang in there, enjoy life, celebrate your accomplishments and resolve to try again if you have some bad days. Have a great week!

You did it so consistently !!! Your journey has been amazing!! Rarely do I see such a determination and flow. (and I've been on this site awhile) And that you are maintaining is such a great accomplishment. The way you did it seemed like a walk in the park! (I know it wasn't) All in all, I'm impressed! Good for you! Do you find it still hard, or is that struggle behind you, and now you are just managing your weight loss?

Thank you everyone! Some days, like today, I had to pause and make a very conscious decision. I went to the grocery store hungry (really bad idea). I had a list of regular, healthy food to buy. However, today I was tired, grumpy and hungry. I looked at the calories in candy bars, small bags of chips, and chocolate milk. Oh, and Little Debbie snack cakes. I was already congratulating myself for only buying a single serving of any of these foods. Then, reality set in. I am going out for a nice dinner this weekend. I have been looking forward to eating whatever I want. I knew I couldn't enjoy that dinner if I made bad choices today. So... I found a bag of tiny boxes of raisins (45 calories a box). I took them home and had one box with a bottle of water. I waited 30 minutes and found the craving for the other junk had passed. We just finished a healthy dinner and I think I'm in the clear for today. So yes. It's still a bit of a struggle. But, I don't struggle every day and each time I have a day like today, I feel I have more strength to make it through the next challenging day. The journey was worth the effort but it is not over. I can't tell you how much the support from this FS group means to me. Have a wonderful night and thank you for your encouragement!

Sounds beautiful to stay stable in maintenance mode. Slightly envious, but very happy for you. For me, a requirement is to completely eliminate fast acting foods for life. Consider myself as a recovering carboholic that way.
