In shock that the scale gave me some love this morning. Yesterday was a great food day - stayed within my new targets until 8:30 pm when I made a lovely sparkling pink coconut milk beverage - only to realize I'd used coconut cream. The cream has much more fat and net carbs - than the coconut milk. Couldn't waste it - expected it to go to my waist but as of this morning it hasn't done that. Going to keep busy today - kayaking, doing some outdoor work - in an attempt to not let it affect the scale tomorrow... It's a beautiful sunny day here - it's still cool right now but its going to be a stinker so I'm going to get busy outside now. Enjoy the day everyone.

Totally unrelated to Weight management: The beverage was in celebration - our Granddaughter Willow was born yesterday. Our son face timed us from the delivery room and could barely speak he was so emotional - he'd caught Willow, and cut the cord. Times sure have changed - face time calls from the delivery room - and he was in street clothes - he didn't have to gown down from head to toe like my hubby did when our kids were born. Then they went to the post-partem room where they'll be for a day or two - and there were beds for both Mom and Dad - and the baby stays with the parents - there isn't a nursery anymore. Due to work schedules and such we could't plan to get out there till August - modern technology visits will have to do until then. Can't wait to go see them.

Update - went Kayaking in a new spot Verona Lake - it's about 15 minutes from home. The Lake's 1.9 km long and .5 wide - we did the perimeter in an hour and a quarter.
185.8 lb Lost so far: 14.3 lb.    Still to go: 35.8 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

super & congrats on your new granddaughter, I also just had a new arrival, granddaughter last week, they are in a different country so yes, thank goodness for new technology as I won't be able to hold her until late August.
