HAPPY NEWS! 7-7-18 2:43 am Our Granddaughter, Willow was born in the wee hours of the morning. We got a FaceTime call about 5 minutes after she arrived 5:48 our time. Mom & Willow are fine. To say our Son is emotional would be such an understatement - he's like me - emotions times ten. I don't think he'll sleep for a week. They're on the other side of the country so we won't get to meet Willow in person for 5 weeks till we go out on vacation - can't wait. Looking forward to many more FaceTime visits over the course of the weekend.
Good news from the scale as well! I set myself new macro targets yesterday 20% lower than when I started this journey about 6 or 7 weeks ago - and it worked. The 2 workouts yesterday may have helped as well - either way they made me feel great. Exercise endorphins are such a high! I managed to go past the 16 hour mark yesterday and my walk was before I ate - it's amazing what the body CAN do!
I also made a new dinner meal yesterday that I'll be repeating. Stuffed jalapeno peppers - shredded chicken, shredded cheese, cream cheese and a bit of bacon bits - grilled them on a cookie sheet on the BBQ alongside some cajun grilled zucchini - quite delicious! Next time I'l get a photo...
