42.4% Last night I weighed myself and my bfp was 38.9, which would put me in the overweight category instead of obese. Besides addressing these categories in its manual, my scale alerts you of which category you are in by showing pluses- one plus for overweight, two pluses for obese (and a minus for underweight, my sister gets that, but I haven't since I got this scale. :) Anyway, while I was celebrating my first taste of 'overweight,' I noticed that my weight was also showing only one plus. I am not sure when that changed, but I was happy about that, too. I know the scale (and whoever programmed it) is not the boss of my self-esteem, but it still feels good. Also, last night I went to a clothing swap and traded in some of my XXLs and XLs for Ls and a couple Ms. (I'll probably still have some more I can offer one or more of my fs buddies soon, like I said I would. just couldn't pass up the free clothes! :)

It feels good to wear skinnier clothes! Enjoy every minute of that. You are doing awesome! I still can't believe I'm in a smaller size. I am convinced someone just went through my closet and relabeled all my clothes or something because I still envision myself the size I was 6 months ago. I do enjoy shopping more now, but I don't want to buy a lot of new clothes until I get to my goal. That clothing swap is a great idea, I think I'm just so particular about my clothes that I probably couldn't find anything. I have to spend hours at the Goodwill to find anything, but its usually a gem! :) My friend sold all her plus size clothes to a used clothing store for plus sized women. She ended up with a lot of cash that she used to buy some new stuff. Anyway, enjoy it all. You deserve it.

Thanks, Sara! I know it took me a long time to adjust mentally to being a bigger size, so I'm looking forward to having the opposite problem like you're having. :) I'm the same way about shopping-- I spend hours trying to find the one right thing. But the pile of clothes at the swap was HUGE, so I was able to find a couple things-- nothing I'd necessarily buy for too much money, but cute enough to wear for free. :)
