Did pretty well this week i think. Made a delicious Sunday dinner of homemade turkey noodle soup... stock, lots of onion, celery and carrots. I used whole wheat egg noodles and had some bread with it.. turned out delicious... and gave the rest to my friend because she is sick with ear infections and strep throat. she loved it too. drank lots of water this week and as always i am on my feet and moving. I got my new job at the nursing home for the CNA training program and I am so excited... I cant wait to get this done and get a full time job... it will totally be worth it. I go tomorrow for paperwork and then thursday and friday for orientation. Very excited that I will be constantly moving at both jobs and I will start wearing a tracker to see how far I walk everyday. yay!!! go me!

Making soup is so cool. I recently got a crock pot and now I cook everything in it. Soup is fun with one of these. You put your ingredients in at might before you go to bed. Turn it on low. When you get up, turn it off. When you get home from work, eat! It keeps all day because it's been sterilized by all that time cooking.

yes... and another recommendation for the crock pot... If you like turkey theighs and legs... DO IT... I dont know if you have the product in your area, but I use Buck's seasoning (its from around Syracuse, NY) I put it on around 6am before I leave for work and it goes all day til around 6 pm... its delicious and it falls off the bone. I have not tried turkey breast in the crock pot, but by all means, try it too. I will then use the leftover turkey the next day for either sandwhiches or will automatically do turkey noodle soup. comes out delicious!
