Just finished my second workout at the gym. Today was much better—I felt a little more comfortable and not like such an outsider. I’ve been wicked sore but didn’t have any trouble completing my workout today. Got to get my bikini body ready 😂 just kidding my bikini days are far behind me! Have a great day my friends!! It’s FRIDAY!! Yay!
128.0 lb Lost so far: 29.6 lb.    Still to go: 3.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I think you should check in with another trainer - the first thing they are supposed to tell you is not to weight lift every day?

The gym was rough for me at first, especially because I was intimidated by not knowing what to do. It gets way easier after a couple of visits. You can do weight training every day, but it’s important to give muscle groups 48 hours between workouts. The bikini body comment made me laugh. As a male, a bikini has never been something I aspired to, but honestly, a cremation might be my last chance of having a smokin’ hot body. ;-)

Good for you. Keep it up. I just returned to the gym after 15 months and started running! It’s hard to get back into it — I know! Good luck and keep going! It’s easier everyday and Pinterest has some great at home workouts if you don’t feel like going to the gym due to time restraints, tired or weather etc. I’ve used them several times a year ago and it really works

Good job on getting to the gym for day #2, your on your way for sure.....See no need to feel like an outsider---in fact the shape your walking into the gym with, may be as intimidating to others as you are of them. I can totally see you rocking out in a bikini at a fitness model competition. These are different than bodybuilding competitions. They run in age brackets and weight/height classes. Yes, there are many active moms who do them. WOOO HOOOO ----Yes YOU CAN !!! Oh, sorry got carried away (haha)..... Great work. I went today as well, spoke with PF Management Team today and was informed that the Personal Trainer and program design is free of charge with Black Card Membership (as this is more advanced level membership to include some extras)---please double check your membership level as I don't want you to get taken advantage of..... Did the trainer work with you again today or were you on your own ? Hopefully no additional charges. Sounds like you performed the Circuit training again ? As you feel more comfortable with each visit, like stated in prior comments, examine other machines and there uses. Weightlifting/fitness with machines and free weights are good, make sure to incorporate new body weight exercises as well. But since your familiarity is not quite there yet as you are new to gym life ---it is recommended to stick with machines or body weight exercise equipment. The machines will show diagram at top of what muscles are activated, and most times will keep you in proper body positions (may have to adjust level of seats however for your height). Machines were originally designed as an alternative for those with injuries - to allow proper and continuous movements without placing the persons in peril of further injury. Machines now are widely used by most persons, I use them most often ---but I have designed my plan based upon years of prior experience as an athlete. It just has taken time to work back to form, strength, and conditioning..... I will be communicating with you soon via message for cordial conversation as pertains to the past few comments/posts.... In the meantime, recover for the weekend and begin again next week. Stay on point with nutrition !!!! Take Care .... ;)

Thank you for the support! Love my FS family🙂 Wright: I just have a regular membership—no black card. The trainer was there today and did help me with some ab exercises. I felt much better about today. In fact it was fun and I’m excited to go back next week. (Never thought I’d say that😁) thanks for all the info and support!

Yay! Look at you go! I don’t want a bikini bod, but not having to tuck my belly into my pants is good.. I’d like to be able to run, stop running and my body stop moving at the same time, instead of involuntary johgling/wiggling movements 😊😉. So I feel ya! You’ll get there, you’re doing great 👍🤗🤗
