Sharons Victory's Journal, 11 May 2018

I was pleasantly surprised that I lost .4 lbs...even after doing walking lunges with 40lbs and pigging out on peanut butter and almonds last night.

This beef stew has been delicious all week BUT it's been putting my numbers way over!!! Today is the last day of the stew so my macros should be way better after today.

I REALLY want to be 208-220 max by summer...maybe I should shoot for 215!

I just started working a second job in the evenings so that'll keep me busy but harder to plan food since I'll be running around with tubs of ice n stuff (working catering events) BUT it'll be extra exercise too :)

I've been so hungry all day every day lately, don't know what's wrong with me...trying to get this eating under control. I think prepping better stuff this week may get it in check so I'm going to carefully plan this weekend.

I also measured myself this morning and was pleasantly surprised to see I'd lost an inch in my hips. waist and rib cage :). SO happy :) :) :)

Happy Friday all!!!! :)

Sharon, I encourage you to focus on daily or weekly weight loss and not so much on "targeting." My history of setting weight goals on paper pocket calendars is legendary -- at least in my own mind! I started as a teenager. I would set a 2.5 or 3 pound-a-week goal and extend that into the future till I reached whatever goal I hoped to reach -- but never succeeded. All those calendars (I'm 64, 6 months, and 3 days old, as of 10:10 p.m. today, so that's a lot of calendars) stood as an indictment till I threw them all away. I like having that FS weight-progress graph to look *back* on my success these days!

I too, have two part-time jobs, and believe me, it WILL make a huge difference! Keep on 'workin it' girl!
