Born to be Wild Challenge - Lap 6/6

I'm so sorry team, I've had a terrible week. It's just been one thing after another and I've just not stuck to it.

We've had our whole house re-carpeted this week, which took three blokes two whole days at the start of the week - and clearly I wasn't going to be doing my exercise DVDs whilst they were around! Then we spent the evenings sorting out all our belongings again, so no time for catching up on the workouts then. Our gardener has also been sorting out a drainage issue in the back garden. So, I've been providing plenty of tea and biscuits - and joining in with them!

I've also had a couple of work events, involving bad food choices. On top of that, I've not been journaling or keeping my food/exercise diaries up-to-date or even keeping up my with Fatsecret buddies, so I've just generally well and truly fallen off the wagon...

I'm so sorry to have let down the White Corvette team in the final week. :(

Anyway, I've given myself a stern talking to, and I know I need to regain my focus. I've been really depressed much of the week - even the beauty of our freshly re-carpeted home hasn't lifted my mood - I'm sure this has been largely due to the lack of exercise. It's amazing how a vicious circle can start so quickly. No exercise => feeling low => eating biscuits => feeling worse => sitting around watching TV instead of exercising => feeling even worse. I'm going to turn that around this week and get back into a virtuous circle: Exercise => feeling good => eating well =>feeling better => doing more exercise => feeling great!

My husband let me lie in this morning, so I'm rested, and have just done two exercise DVDs back-to-back, so that's a good start to my come back! I WILL see 10 stone something in time for Easter!!

Aw, sounds like you've had a bit of a week there Leanne, so it's not surprising that everything has been thrown into chaos when you've had all these little hurdles against you. It's interesting though isn't it how eating more healthily and exercising changes our moods. That is something that I've noticed too when I've eaten not so great choices. But I think it's good we can now acknowledge this, as it will help us all to stay on track in the future. Well, I hope that you have an easier week... just keep up the healthy eating and that exercise! We all have little bumps in the road now and then, but ultimately you are doing AWESOME there girl, so keep up the great work and have a nice restful weekend. ;o)

Thank you all for your support. It was such a busy week, although that wasn't really much of an excuse for falling so completely off the wagon. However, I am back on track again this week, so putting the chaos of last week behind me. Upwards and downwards!
