43.4% Morning! I'm going to take two hours off of work today to make up for overtime earlier in the pay period (because there is no money to pay us overtime right now), so I have no excuse to do poorly today on the weight loss. Today, I will keep doing well on the food and the exercise. I think I will try a bellydance ab workout from my dvd of three bellydance ab workouts. I didn't loan that one to my friend when I loaned her two others, because I said I wanted to use it. Now it's time to do so!

In non-weight-loss-related news, my poor little sister has pneumonia. My parents brought her home from college to take care of her (I just hope they don't get too close!). She'll be taking antibiotics (because they think it is the bacterial variety), and I'll be giving her reiki energy healing, but if anyone knows any other complementary medicine or general tips for pneumonia recovery, I would greatly appreciate hearing about them.
193.8 lb Lost so far: 13.2 lb.    Still to go: 63.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Oh boy... sorry to hear about your sis's pneumonia. I'm sure with the antibiotic and the reiki, she'll be right as rains before you know it! :) I didn't know you did reiki!?! I'll have to get you to send some my way, some time, when your sis is better! lol :) LOVIN' the chart, keep up the great work and YES, I want to hear how the belly dance work out goes!!

Probiotics! Especially if she's on antibiotics. That is so interesting that you do Reiki. I completed level 1. I have a good friend who is a Reiki master, she was also my bellydance teacher for a while. The more I get to know you the more I can tell we have a lot in common. Bellydance is great for grounding people and for core work. I taught it myself for about a year and a half. I quit because I had very few students who took it seriously and for me it is such a spiritual dance that it was draining to have students that were flaky. Anyways, have a great short day. You are doing awesome on your weight loss!

I'm sorry to hear that your lil' sis is sick. Hopefully she'll be feeling better in no time, with such a loving family around to nurse her!

BT, my sister is feeling better already! and yes, I am a reiki master, and will be happy to send you some reiki soon! this bellydance dvd I have is really good. It says Abs 3 15 minute workouts body sculpting belly dance with Neon on the front. I like it because I am slow learner when it comes to physical coordination and my other videos go WAY too fast. This teacher really goes out of the way to demonstrate and they show her from both sides and made little diagrams and there is a little man who pops in with advice on how to keep from hurting yourself or whatever. I take classes, which is fun, but its good to be able to practice at home too. SO good for the body and for feeling good about oneself!

Hi Sara, thanks for the tip, I did suggest that already, though I am not sure if they followed through. Anyway, she's fortunately feeling better already. That's so cool that you are into bellydance and reiki, too! I am a reiki master officially, too, but I don't teach (maybe someday). That's so neat that you were a bellydancing teacher! I am interested to hear your thoughts about bellydance as a spiritual dance. I am a spiritual person, and my teacher is a spiritual person, but we don't really talk about it from a spiritual angle. Kind of like a "getting in touch with goddess energy" kind of thing, or... ? thanks, you have a great day, too! :)

Zhanice-- yes, I like to mix up my exercise. And bellydancing is awesome! so much fun, good exercise, good for your self-esteem, I highly recommend it. :) Thanks re: my sister. She is getting better.
