BG 114
Not losing BUT not gaining either, which is good:) Though I was hoping to make it to 196 by the end of the month. The first 3 weeks on atkins I lost 9 lbs so I though 11 was reasonable for the month of May, especially since I'm more active. I'm sure this is just a blip due to the days I didn't eat well. And as recommended, I'm eating better so it's just a matter of time!:D
207.0 lb Lost so far: 9.0 lb.    Still to go: 102.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

Weight loss at the start of any diet is often more in the first couple of weeks. Even a loss of 6lb over a month is quite a steady rate (1.5lb a week!), so don't be disappointed if it goes in fits and starts :) Are you sticking with induction or have you moved onto OWL?

I'm sticking to induction. My blood sugar readings and energy has vastly improved and my doc is very pleased. I lost weight a lot easier when I was physically able to be active. I used to go dancing 2-3 nights a week and walk quite a bit before I became disabled. Ahhh.. those were the days:)

I know I lose a lot better when I am active.

It seems after that first weight loss sometimes your body takes time to adjust and then another loss. Activity ceretainly does help, and so glad to hear your blood sugar reading have improved and the energy that comes with Atkins is great. :)

Kinda funny to think of "carbing up" for energy. The energy I get lasts so much longer and I dont crash! Thanks so much Andrea and Lenny for your help. I didn't get fat overnight but it sure as heck is coming off!:D

Now that you are eating more calories, you should see a weight loss. And it is only the 5th of May (Happy Cinco De Mayo), so you could still conceivably lose 11 pounds. Hope all went well with your Dr appointment.

Ruby, Lenny brought up a good point. If you look at a lot of people that have lost good deals of weight they will have significant losses followed by no loss then another loss. If you haven't done so yet, make sure to take body measurements so you can compare. Just because you aren't losing pounds doesn't mean you aren't losing inches.

Yeah, my doc is real happy with what I'm doing so all is well there. And you're right Keli, I did measure myself a while back. I should re-check. Thank you everyone for your kind support. May you all have an awesome day!
