SquirrelB's Journal, 16 April 2018

Had an old friend that I hadn't seen in over ten years come to visit for three weeks and totally fell off my WOE. At first I was cooking us separate meals, but convenience won out and I just ate what I fixed for her. We did a fair amount of traveling and fast food found its way back in my mouth too.

I'm back on track as of this morning and hoping my energy comes back soon. With as crappy as I feel physically, I know I will be sticking to the WOE this time. I don't want to feel like this again. I guess I should be happy it was just 12lbs that came back.
322.0 lb Lost so far: 8.0 lb.    Still to go: 147.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

That is the positive of going off plan—you realize how much better you feel eating healthier things and have less desire to cheat! You’ll be back down in no time!

Good for you for recommitting. I think it takes a long time of being on an eating plan to learn how to stay on it during holidays and visits. It's a really hard problem. I'm sure a percentage of that weight gain is just water and you will be down to your original weight soon!

Glad you had a nice visit, it's unfair how fast the weight comes back! Your strong and back on track continued success!

It's important to enjoy the time with old friends on occasion. Don't beat yourself up about it! You've been doing great, you'll lose those lbs before you know it!
