Good morning, fs! I feel like i need to spend a little time huddling with myself to regroup and refocus for the next three months. Seriously, i had my eye on 100 days, then the fair, and then my trip, for so long that i feel a little lost without my goals and game plan. So i want to spend some time on that this week. Perhaps this is tmi, but i am 52, and i feel like for the first time in my life i am beginning to be able to identify my feelings. It is like i never thought my feelings were relevant and so who cared? What always mattered was other ppl's opinions and needs. So it is nice to think about me and what i really want. I am going to work out today. I don't want to, but i am pretty sure i am up to it and it is just laziness. I will take it easy. Will do t25 and walk with the pooper. Nikeit's thread from earlier has me thinking of what i can do for a little home project today. I mean i always have tons of to-dos, but what could be a little something self-contained. I may clean out a drawer, lol. Also i changed the bed over to its winter look. Hey, i give myself credit for everything, lol. This is the shirt that started it all, lol. When i was mulling losing the weight again, (a several-month process that involved a lot of eating and drinking and watching tv and youtube and complaining), i watched a whole bunch of those weight loss transformation shows. I love all those shows, haha. And there was a woman on s2 of "fit to fat to fit" who had the best attitude and sense of humor. She had this shirt, so off to etsy i went. It was skin tight when i got it, and that was how i felt! Hope everyone is off to a good week!

Awesome post! Uh, that shirt is hanging on you! If you're going to keep it you should upcycle it to a much smaller size and cross out "NOT". 💗😊

Ty for the affirmation and encoragement, friends! Haha, perhaps it is that i did not provide a "rear view" or maybe just that i am a little cray-cray, but i actually feel this shirt still could be a little looser for my liking. I seem to be losing weight from both ends toward the middle. The booty is hanging on! But super nice to be able to see progress.

I think we are twins separated at birth except that I am 10 years older than you...maybe a time warp there - I also give myself credit for every little thing I do - because for some reason I can barely seem to do anything - so when I do some little thing it is a big deal for me - the other day I gave myself credit for my 'do something each day' mini-challenge just because I put the clean dishes away - for that day it was all I could handle. You will find your new goal - maybe something you always wanted to do but didn't - don't worry you will find it and a new motivation will happen. Don't know why but it seems we both aren't overly motivated with that overweight BMI status - I keep screwing up lately despite good intentions - maybe it is the winter weather or maybe just burnout - you are always holding out your hand to help others so I am now holding out my hand to you - let's see if we can get out of this funk and regain some momemtum! Hang in there - you are a really great person and you deserve it! Stay warm!!

Awww, ty nikeit!! I will gladly accept you help up! Yeah, trying to rally motivation and fighting depression and burnout seems to be an ongoing battle. Some days, one or two things is all i can manage. That is why i like your mini-challenges, because they focus on behavior/actions and not just stats. Yeah, the bmi isn't super motivating me, lol. Mostly because i still have a long way to go, and i don't want to get too stuck on particular numbers. I just want to get back in the zone, lol.

Yeah, my depression seems to go into high gear as soon as the cold weather hits, and with burnout on top motivation seems miles away - I get motivated all the time but whether or not it lasts is a whole different story! I did my one thing today which was to clean off the top of my jewelry armoire - it had a bunch of crap on it - then dusted it and put a candle on top - I even dusted a few other things in the bedroom - now I am hanging out in the candle light doing jigsaw puzzles - it was a nice LITTLE thing to get done - sometimes it doesn't take much!

Motivation comes and goes but determination sees me through. It’s like a quiet background hum. I also am a grateful person. Being grateful changes perspective, I think. I am not so centered on myself and reach out every day. While I want to lose some weight, it has not taken over my attention or my life. Everything I experience, think, do or feel is not the cause or result of what I eat.
