Embracing fat has been an ongoing challenge since I started keto a year ago. Last week I saw some studies that made it clear that fat, protein and carb ratios far outweighs the importance of calories.
One study showed that a 90% fat diet is more efficient than extended fasting in regards to fat mass loss.
With this new knowledge I find it easier to embrace fat. Now do a breakfast with a small can of sardines, four duck egg yolks, fatty ground beef, plus lightly fried bacon topped with a bit of butter.
So far so good with this new breakfast. Waist measurement is still an inch from target though. Kind of hard this last bit of loss.
