Kaya Maganda's Journal, 02 April 2018

So this is what 35 (years old) feels like. Not much different than 34, I suppose.

I took Saturday and Sunday off from logging calories/exercise, and from "being good" in general. I'm right back at it today, though, especially since the scale says I gained back 7 pounds over the weekend. #EpicFail

I know it's mostly water and salt, but it's still both motivating and discouraging at the same time to see numbers back over 220, especially since I worked so hard to reach that 215. Hopefully I'll see 215 again by the 11th so I can say I lost the full 60 pounds in a year.

60 pounds in a year is pretty good, right? It averages out to 1.25#/wk, so I guess it's not bad. I've got 60 more pounds to lose after that, but I know the smaller I get, the harder it will be to lose more. I know I'm going to be super stoked to be under 200 no matter how long it takes, or how hard I have to work.

I told my daughter's babysitters that I still wanted to lose another 60 pounds, and they looked at me and asked "where?!" I wanted to say "RIGHT HERE," and jiggle my mama belly, but I figured I should just take the compliment and shut up. :)
222.0 lb Lost so far: 53.0 lb.    Still to go: 67.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
