Monday morning, and I'm feeling motivated to the max! I wish I was doing anything but sitting in my desk chair. Only 45 minutes until my break, and I'm going to spend it doing laps around the building and catching Pokemon in Pokemon GO!

I'm down another pound today, and my period is almost over. This is GREAT! My new fitness watch is really helping motivate me, and tracking my food intake helps way more than I thought it would. I'm really excited to be off my 225lb plateau!

Also, I have a website that I get goals and do "missions" on for my insurance plan through work. It's actually a lot of fun, and even though I've met all the requirements to qualify for discounted insurance, I still play the games and use the tools available to me. I must say, I've learned a lot about food and nutrition from it, even though it's very USDA-centered. I'm very much about alternative health, so some of the quizzes are hard for me to ace because my truth is different than their truth. It's still fun, though.

This week my goals are to lift weights 4 days, do yoga 5 days, and cycle 5 days. I'll probably do all of that 6-7 days, but logging into it on the weekends to check off the goals almost never happens, so there's no point. Oh, and I leveled up! I've done pretty much all the missions that I can do in winter in Vermont, so I'm really looking forward to unlocking the next tier of missions at level 50. Some of the missions are things like "Walk 10,000 steps 10 times," or "bike 15 miles," and some of them are more like "do 10 kid-related activities," or "visit 5 museums." I think you can even play Sudoku to earn points. It's mostly on an honor system, which is totally fallible, but I'm a pretty honorable critter, so I know I'm not trying to cheat the system. It's not my job to care if other people do, but they totally could.

It was so cold out this morning that there was frost on my car, and I had to warm it up just to coax it out of the driveway. I really wish we could see some higher numbers on the thermometer. I'd take 45... 50. 65 would make my day, though.

My step-kids were home for the weekend, and they trashed the room I do yoga in, so I didn't get to work out this morning. I was going to start weight-lifting today instead of doing so much yoga, but I ended up logging "1 hr of housework" as my morning workout instead.

For those of you who've been following me, I should just interject that the kitten, "Muse," is doing well, and is very playful and happy.
