Cut the fat intake. I’m seeing a bariatric dr and I am limited to 14 g of fat a day. It’s hard but that is what works.

@Mary: on your Diet Calendar Overview page notice that the columns for Exercise and Net are blank. Go to your Exercise Diary and at the bottom of the page click "this is some of my exercise" for every day (so, for March 8 up to today). Then go back to your Diet Calendar Overview. and look at your Net calories. Assuming your RDI is set properly and that you've accurately recorded your food this should help. No matter what program, diet, or protocol you follow, you must have a significant calorie deficit to lose weight. Approximately, a 3500 calorie deficit will give you one pound loss. I hope that helps. You can do it!!

I messed up my weight loss in the past by eating too little. I needed at least 1200. I did best also dropping processed carbs. I'm trying to get back into that mode.

Are you exercising? Spend a minimum of 30 minutes each day with a regimented program & the weight loss will happen. Please follow your 1600 Calories each day & you will see the lbs fade away!!

I think the comment about starvation mode could be correct, but not knowing if you have health issues can make it hard to help you. Sleep was mentioned and I hope you are getting plenty. Also exercise can really help. If you're gonna give up carbs, you should eat veggies and whole grains, also beans are a really good source of protein. Nuts and seeds are a healthy addition to any diet, as part of good carbs, but sparingly of course. Fruits are good for everyone but if doing low carb or are a diabetic try sticking to berries mostly and lemons or limes. I went to Chili's tonight and had the black bean burger, but I eat grilled fish when I go to Cheddar's. I love to eat out and not doing bad on my diet. I hope you find what works for you and start getting the results you want. Just be patient and maybe add a smoothie with some protein powder. I love frozen whole strawberries blended up in cashew milk (delicious with only 75 cals and add whatever protein powder, not counted). I have oatmeal or eggs most mornings, which are both good for you, with a smoothie a few hours later. You can have the smoothie anytime with that low of cals and carbs too. Hope this helps in some small way, Nan
