That’s not necessarily a bad thing if it’s keeping you on track, & not feeling hungry. I just eat when I feel like it personally

You should be eating or at least supplementing a meal with a protein meal replacement drink periodically throughout the day to keep the metabolism from slowing down. slowing the metabolism will tell the body to store food sources eaten as fat to be used later for energy conversion. Your eating plan is dependent upon your overall goals....r you wanting to lose weight, gain weight, or whatever ---this should dictate how to plan your meals...you can plan around work as well by planning ahead. Additionally many persons nowadays may purchase a fitbit or fitness tracker and can set the timer to go off at specified schedules to remind you to eat at specific times. Good luck with your planning and goals.

I have an 8 hour window from 3p, to 11pm where I stick to LCHF principles. at the end of the 8 hour window I have only plain tea or coffee no sweetener.

I'm hungry right now. Don't care. Not eating at midnight. Besides, I have a nice hot cup of black coffee and watching 600lb life. It inspires me to stay the course. Never want to end up making the mistakes that lead to that life-threatening situation. God bless 'em.

Sounds like you may be thinking that more meals equals a higher metabolism. That is a myth. If your goal is fat loss, not eating sometimes is not a bad thing unless it's a habit causing you to become malnourished.

It depends on your WOE. If you start your day with keto butter coffee, you may not be hungry for hours. I schedule a daily reminder and carry lunch to work.

@wright2018 more meals does not equal a higher metabolism. @gz9gjg, does butter coffee take away hunger via making you nauseous? I think coffee alone is helpful to keep hunger at bay, no need to add calories to it, drinking your calories is never recommended.

An another healthier, more filling alternative to basically drinking butter, would be having eggs instead, way more beneficial than wasting calories from having butter

When I get busy I forget to eat too. I pack a little snack in a ziploc bag and put it in my purse.

I get tired if I don't eat. So I have to be careful not to grab a sugary snack. (so tempting)

My reminder is on my outlook calendar on my work computer. It also helps avoid rude people scheduling a meeting at noon.
