Ok so yesterday was my Birthday. Beautiful flowers from hubby, many Happy BD wishes, all in all good day!! So why did I eat a bowl of ice cream &&& Nutter Butter cookies?? Makes me so Damned mad when my brain takes control. Back to it today - gotta get over this slump. I’ve lost 40# since September but losing my focus and drive. Anyone else do this? Gotta get to Onederland - 50# to go. 😞

I'm going to eat what I want on my birthday...Halloween lol...but I'm going to have a different approach as to how my thinking goes when this I do .got to enjoy life though so have fun... then back to business ...simple as that...that's my plan;)

My birthday is next week, so I have already picked a menu and designed ways of avoiding the wrong foods. It seems that I always have a reason to go off a diet, so after many, many years of gaining, I have found reasons to stick with it despite the occasion. We are going to a restaurant that serves great salads, and I plan to give the piece of cake to my sister.

just plan for the cheats on special occasions and then make the necessary adjustments after the fact. So long as you limit the number of cheats I think they can be built into a healthy approach. Better than guilt.
