So happy for you!!! What wonderful news! 💁🏻‍♀️Wow!Keto shouldn’t be a problem, but ask your OB/GYN they want pregnant women to have sensible weight gains during pregnancy nowadays. 🙋🏻Stick with whole grains for high fibre and stay away from processed foods and you should have it! Flax meal, oatmeal, wheat germ, psyllium, whole wheat, quinoa, and wild rice can be your friends. LOL They might want you to up your carbsw to 40 or 50 netC a day or so, but that is a very nice maintenance range with lots of good fibre possibility to keep things regular!🙆🏻‍♀️ Big congratulation hugs!

Congratulations!! How exciting!! I miss the little kids around..... I think you need to eat a completely balanced diet for now. Your baby is building its body so you don't want a diet where the metabolism isn't set up for that, at least common sense thinking. I had my son when I was 38 so whew, a little hard but they keep you young too. Blessings to you and yours!

I was a year older than you when I had found out I was pregnant...my oldest boy was in college and my other son was in high school..because I was older imo my daughter and I have an amazing relationship...I had time to really be with her ...our relationship is a very close one..do you have other children?...this is a special time for you and I agree speak to your doctor about what you should do...so happy for you sweetie;)

I would recommend high protein, moderate fat and carbs. Basic. You're going to need the energy the carbs will give you. You need that fiber too. Get extra vitamins from your food (including carbs) and congrats!!!

Congrats! You may have to up your carbs and lower your fat a bit, just so the baby gets plenty of vitamins and you don't end up gaining weight. But you can still get your carbs primarily from veggies and not fruit or grains. Prenatal vitamins should also help with any vitamins you may miss out on. Good luck!

Congrats! I echo was Ravyne said. Don't stress about weight loss right now, and enjoy pregnancy and that new baby. Also, enjoy the sleep. As you know, you'll soon be very deprived. Lol.

Congratulations!! I had my 5th baby 2 years ago at almost 40 years of age! It’s definitely harder on your body the older you get but so worth it. Just ask your dr and then enjoy being pregnant! There’s nothing as amazing as a baby growing inside of you. Good luck!

Babies are always a blessing!! Eat healthy and balanced nutrition and keep up exercising! I gained 15lbs my 3rd pregnancy because I had about an extra 15-20lbs on my body!! Had a bouncing baby girl that was nearly 9lbs and I weighed less after than I did before!! Congratulations on your new gift!!

Congratulations! Yes, you definitely need to discuss your nutrition with the doctor, imho. I agree with @Momma6224, it is amazing to see the stages the baby goes through as it grows inside the womb. There are some great pictures of fetal stages.

Congratulations! Yes, talk to your doctor about a healthy, balanced meal plan. Baby needs carbs for healthy brain development!

Oh my goodness thank you everyone. I haven't been on in a few days. Trying to figure the next step of our wonderful journey. I have three other children Noah 15, Dylan 13 and shiann 8. They are really excited about the new arrival. As well as my wonderful husband. So far I am still doing keto. I have added a few more carbs to my diet. The only thing is I really haven't been hungry. Yesterday I only ate once with one snack. I think alot has to do with the nausea. Maybe that will all change in time. Hugs to everyone. :)
