Feeling a lot better since I added some calories and upped carbs. Went a bit overboard yesterday but got over the chocolate mousse craze. In fact, I think the other serving is going in the garbage.

Reading over my weight and journal posts I see a disturbing word. STRUGGLE. That should always be a clue for me to know I'm off track. I began this journey knowing that the same principles that I use to stay away from alcohol, turning my will over to my Higher Power, would work for any "ism/aholic" in my life. I turned my foodaholism over to HP and got out of the way. First thing I found this support system. Secondly I found keto. I loved all the butter, cream, mayo, avocado, and other usually controlled foods. Thinking about sugar, pasta, bread was gone. At some point it changed from doing the next right thing to obsessing and struggling. I got weak and dizzy but my keto sticks were a dark magenta so I soldiered on and struggled. It never occurred to me that I had taken back the control and never once meditated for direction. If you're still reading, this is just to say, thank you for being my support and I'm going back to square one. If it's keto, okay. If it's not keto that's okay too. I'm listening for what's the next right thing. Right now I'm going to get the left over tilapia from last night and have some avocado. 😁 Oh, and I've been using Qwest bars for emergency - in the car, starving. I'm gonna look into jerky. Something tells me that may be better for me. Love you all.
164.6 lb Lost so far: 6.4 lb.    Still to go: 19.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Yep. Whatever WOE wirks for YOUR body Jackie! Doctors and other ‘experts’ are finding out the answers are just as individual as the patient! 🤷🏻‍♀️You may discover that riding a very light keto line works for you. It does modt of the time for me. But I’m also not stressing huge amounts of weight loss as long as I feel better and can stay active. 💁🏻‍♀️You’ll figure it out you are an incredible and intelligent woman! LOL

"Obsessing"? Me too! Boy once I recognized my brain was "obsessing" (over anything, fill in the blank) I was able to take back control and tell my brain to stop going round and round over it. I could then consciously make better choices. (My brain gets silly like that sometimes.)
