Today is the second day of my Husband and I doing the South Beach Diet, yesterday went very well alot better than I had hoped. However the cravings, OH MY GOD, the cravings. We had to have alot of will power to avoid the bad foods we would normally turn to instead we followed our Phase one, week one meal plan. I have hope that everyday it will get a little easier. I know it has only been one day but I already feel a difference in my mood and energy level. Oh, and WATER, WATER, WATER you can't drink enough, it was hard not to reach for a soda, we chose water or crystal light instead. Fresca helps just to get that carbonation. More to come later...

I'm so prooud of your decision. You will not regret it. Don't miss crawing through the tubes and bouncing in the balls with your kids. Get a two seater jogging stroler for your kids and hit the parks. No matter how tired you get - and you will be tired for many years to come - it's not a dress rehersal and they grow up soooooo..... fast. You can do it!!! Keep up the good work. Plus, South Beach is so family friendly - my family loves it and I feel good that I'm feeding them the RIGHT STUFF!!!

Way to go Haymae!! Yes, the cravings for the first several days are a little rough, but just hang in there and they get much easier. I also agree with Mary O that this is very family friendly...my kids don't mind at all. Enjoy your new found energy!
