Relieved to see I'm still moving down scale wise. I have had a few non scale victories. YAY! Looser clothing is a plus. Really enjoying my morning workouts with the weights, etc. Never thought I'd write that!! Having more energy is great. Working on having high and low eating days so body won't adapt and try to hold on to the weight. I struggle to meet my calorie allotment regardless on high days. As always, a work in progress!
245.0 lb Lost so far: 65.0 lb.    Still to go: 60.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

It is going to be hard for me to do exercises as I have to hang on to a walker at all times.

Good job! 🙋🏻@ Patti Hughes Try chair exercises if you can sit up and lift your arms or legs. If you can’t look into a pool or physical therapy. Most doctors are very supportive of getting us more fit and active as it hold off many diseases including dementia. Take walks with that walker around the block or house. It’s what I do. I don’t HAVE to hold mine except when I’m out, but take it everywhere.🤷🏻‍♀️I’m only 55, but look 65 because of it. But I would rather know I’m steady. LOL There are alternative ways to get movement and exercise in. Not all of us can do weights and gym, or should. 💁🏻‍♀️So we do what we can.

Hi Patti Hughes. Have you heard of T-Tapp. You can google T-Tapp exercise and they have a program that you can sit in a chair and do. My daughter got it for me. There is also a Step away the inches, which you can do just standing in your living room, or rec room. I found them very beneficial.

Thanks 8Patty, Glen, HCB, Katrina Boyd, smprowett, Gardenia, and Draglist!! Thanks to all who supported my entry! Support and comments are so appreciated and needed. Pattie Hughes, I do a lot of 8 pounds lifts while on the computer/TV while I'm sitting. I can be very creative with that dumbbell!! I started out with 5 lb weights and moved up. In addition, I do some standing lifts and do a few with the 10 pound kettle ball. Should do more. :) When I'm waiting for my Kuerig, washing machine, dryer, microwave, etc I do twists, marching in place, anything for some movement :) Some appliances have a good beat to move to!! While sitting I do several leg and foot exercises. Fidgeting is a good calorie burner from what I have read. I still have some issues with my surgeries on my stomach so I don't overdo too much, especially with walking. Of course, when I do, there is Aleve! I like to think I'm gaining muscle, even if not losing weight as fast as I would like.

Your more inventive then me. I walked over a mile in the examine room before the doctor came in! lol time management!

Oh 8Patty, you have a fast doctor. Here, you probably could do at least a mile and a half before seeing the doctor!

WalMart sells a nice set with 2lb weights as the smallest in the set for under $20 that you can get delivered. When I was recovering from my stomach and arm surgeries I used those and still use them on one arm that has shoulder problems.🤷🏻‍♀️
