Well, I am going to switch gears and try something new. My work is offering WW for 20 weeks and my insurance/employer is paying for it. I know low carb works for me, but I have been struggling for a year trying to get back on track and I am just not getting there consistently. I am willing to try a different path. I am still going to watch my carbs and make healthy choices. Just going to do it a little differently. It can't hurt. LOL

Sierra1167, I see we have something in common. It will be interesting to see your results with combining WW and low carb higher fat eating and tracking. It will work if you don't eat a bunch of high carb fruit and starchy veggies and starches like bread and pasta. They add up carbs real fast and increase hunger. The old WW program when Jean Niditch started it was very structured and those foods were limited or not included. If you do the work, you'll see results.

We will see. I am not overly concerned with the fruit, but have no plans to eat a bunch of bread, potatoes, and pasta. I am hoping that by allowing myself more fruit and vegetables, while lowering my fat and protein a bit, it will balance out. One of the main reasons I struggle with low carbs is that I love fruit and limiting it so much makes me crave sugary stuff that is way more unhealthy. Right now I am trying to switch my mind from counting carbs to counting points (which means watching everything). I think while WW allows unlimited fruits and veggies, it does steer you away from high simple carbs by assigning higher point levels to things like bread and pasta.

I eat fruit - love berries and make berry smoothies adding in pineapple and either orange juice or pineapple orange juice with almond milk. I'm not concerned about carbs from plants. Weight Watchers has always worked when I've used their plan, whatever it is, they've changed it a few times.

That's exactly what I just did! I've been doing low carb for a long time and I think it works for my body when I follow it and get some exercise! Everyone at work is doing Weight Watchers, so I joined in. What I am doing differently is I am adding one fruit serving a day, and I cut out sat fat, nuts, cut way back on the amount cheese and red meat. It took a few days to adjust, but I feel great and the support of a group is helpful. And I have points I can spend on occasional treats. I've lost 13 pounds in 4 weeks. My macros are about 30% Carb, 30% Fat, and 30% Protein. My calories seem low, but I'm getting enough protein and I haven't felt hungry except the first week, so I'm happy with that. I will be interested in seeing how my blood work looks in a few months.
