I don’t feel like doing much of anything. I broke fast with spicy pickle bites and a Coke Zero... ummmm since both are zero calories... is it considered breaking a fast?!

😊 @8patty I think we go to the store daily here 😩 there is always something we forget/need... and of course in our little town with no big box stores everything is 4times more expensive to stop by the market for an item.

When I and my family moved to a small town 20 miles away from the local ‘tourist’ town (we lived in the Columbia River Gorge on one of the few towns accessible from the Pacific Crest Trail) and we were about 40-60 minutes from larger shopping stores I changed my shopping habits and started REALLY making use of my freezer and making lists! I would do a multiple store run to the bigger towns once a month for the main stocking up from the list of things that we always ate and always used. 🤷🏻‍♀️After a few years I had a good handle on what those were. 😏The sundries, dairy, major meat, produce for a few weeks, canned goods, dry goods, etc and by store. And I would keep my eyes open for any good sales or discounts on meats or major produce that we would use that I could fit into our meals. Then I only had to use our local stop and rob for the occasional produce or milk or such. And there was a more complete store across the State line about 10 miles from us I could hit in a pinch if I wanted to pay taxes. 💁🏻‍♀️I was willing to support the local market, but every time I went in there they had some new, irritating policy that made shopping there less attractive. I finally decided they just didn’t want or need my business🙇🏻‍♀️. I wasn’t going to force my money on them. Now that I live more urban I find it difficult to break up my shopping trips into smaller bites. My son is always irritated with me because I try to do too much at once. But I get paid once a month so I don’t like waiting. The money may disappear! 😁 Plus I keep essentially an inventory list of what I like to have in the house, so I know when I go shopping what I need. Very OCD I know. It comes from being a project manager and hating to waste my time with redoing work if I can possibly avoid it. Sometimes you can’t! LOL 🤷🏻‍♀️

You sound very efficient, work smarter not harder 😉. I am a total list and over planner, drives my BF crazy. Especially since I had driving 30mins away to shop alone, so I make him come with me and the girls... it ends up being a 1/2 a day event 🤣🤷‍♀️
