ScoobySnacks's Journal, 16 May 2012

Getting up this morning was a little harder than usual, probably because I stayed out so late last night... going to the movies with my friends.

Overall, I'm pretty proud of myself today! Last night we ate at Del Taco (I had previously researched and ate exactly what I had portioned out calorie-wise), at the movies I resisted the offers to have some popcorn and soda. Not that I'm a huge popcorn lover, but when I do get my greedy little hands on it I usually go overboard (ie, despite not loving it I'll still pour it down my throat).

Overall, I think the scale this morning was rewarding me for sticking to my guns and saying no to the junkfood. :)

I hope everyone else has won similar battles and your motivation is still going strong!

Thanks! I am super proud (now), haha. Earlier today I had mixed emotions about it (losing weight at that quick of a rate) and actually ate more than what I usually do; but I'm back to figure out how far I sabotaged my calories. There's sooo much conflicting information over how to diet the "right" way; today I finally made a decision to just figure out what my body feels is right (which is what I was doing before) and hopefully get somewhere with that!
