I didn't walk for 3 days in a row. 2 of those days I took Bobby to the dog park in the morning so he could play with his sister - he hadn't seen her for over a month. Then I just didn't feel like walking later in the day. The other day I was gone for most of the day. So I walked today and felt really good about doing it. I've been struggling staying on track in December but probably the thing that motivates me the most is a doctor appointment. When I saw my doctor on September 25 he asked for a follow up visit in 3 months. On the paper he gave me he wrote "Gail says she will lose 15 pounds by the next visit". My weight on that day was 189. I saw him twice in October after experiencing severe pain I thought might be caused by my gall bladder. He said it was due to the crazy anxiety I experienced after being evacuated due to a fire close to home. I weighed 185 and 184 on those visits. I am on track to have lost the 15 pounds from the September visit which needs to be no higher than 174. That's fully clothed including shoes! At home I weigh myself in pajamas with no shoes. The appointment is Thursday so I am thinking I should be able to do what I told my doctor I would do. It's funny what motivates us.

That is awesome! That is a lot of weight to lose in 3 months. I love to walk outside but can’t right now. I seriously had a Day dream about starting a walking club the other day. I had to come out of it by realizing I can’t walk on hard ground yet. Lol. But I will soon I hope.
