No battle survives contact with the enemy. I decided to get gas on the way to the restaurant, and locked my keys in the car. That wasted an hour and a half, so we didn't have time to drive to Hondo. We just stayed in Kerrville and went to the Lakehouse. I had the baked catfish with extra butter and no rice. The other vegetables put me over my usual total for a day, but I'll scrimp on them tomorrow or do extra exercise. It will be two weeks before we can think of going to Herman Sons again.
