Go with the weight it shows and the plan from there. As long as you use the same scale for each weigh in, you should be good. The scale in my hotel this week, said I was WAY lighter than I really am! It said 234! I WISH! LOL

What a coincidence. I got a new scale this week too! Decided to go with a mechanical Dr's scale (Salter) as my digital scale was over 20 years old. The Face was broken ...batteries always dying and weight fluctuated 2-3 lbs with each step on the scale. At the end ...I was deciding what I weighed by averaging my three "trys" at the scale. So funny though...When I set up the Salter and adjusted the mechanism to zero; then weighed myself...it was exactly to the lb on one try...what I weighed on the old Didital. Who cares about the idiot box ....now? ;>)

I was up 2.5 lbs when I got a new scale ( old one stopped measuring % body fat correctly) Just tried it, a couple of months later it still measures me 2.5lbs heavier.. so at least I know I haven't put on an extra 2.5 lbs 🤗

Scales are weird. You'd think they'd be more accurate, since THAT is exactly the purpose. /smacks forehead

This morning my new scale is only 1.5 lbs. Heavier than my old scale. I can live with that now.
