kingkeld's Journal, 17 March 2012

As promised - here's a picture of "creepy skinny" - this is me, photo taken this very morning.

As you can tell, there is really no fat left to lose anywhere on my upper body. I'll spare you the sight of my saggy belly, that needs the skin removed. :)

...and for those of you who haven't seen the older photos, here is a "before" picture, for comparison:

Short weigh-in today - it's Saturday, and Wife and I will be out enjoying ourselves most of the day.

Today, I weigh in at 77.9 kgs - 900 grams above the goal I'm hoping to reach again by 2nd of April. It's plenty time, I think it's more about controlling the fluctuations and hopefully they won't mess with me the day before.

Let's do this.

:) Why would you call yourself creepy skinny? If you are almost to your goal weight and still have a little to lose? Think, happier, healthier, skinny... :) Thats the positive way, you're doing your body good! And you are such a wonderful inspiration and motivator. You look great!

Bkeller - Yes, I do hear it a lot. :) Now, that doesn't mean that I don't appreciate it every time I hear it. I love the fact that I can inspire, and if that can benefit anyone else to move the slightest forward, then it's a mission accomplished. We're all here for the same reason, and we're all here together. Thanks for the kind words. :)

Who knew those lovely big blue eyes were hiding under there! Re my comment yesterday, I wasn't suggesting at all that you should forget your goal because you'll lose it anyway in surgery, no way. Rather, I wondered if the goal weight is actually too low (not taking the excess skin into account) and that's why you look skinny. However, looking at today's pic I don't think you look skinny at all, you look lean and healthy. The big changes are a lot for you AND your wife to get used to in such a short time but you're both doing a fantastic job :) Hope you're having a great Saturday.

Hi Keld, I never asked you this before, but if I may, back then what triggered you to undertake this life changing journey? Thank you for sharing your photos. For me, after losing more than 22kg, I can’t really see much of a difference in my body yet. I am sure it will come though.. hopefully :)
