Weird day. Started last night, with being exhausted after 2 busy days at work. As some of you know, I'm what's called a 'social loner', or introvert. I like social interaction, but it takes a toll on me, and I need long periods of solitude to recover. I love and care about my clients, and when one of them is going through a hard time, it affects me almost as much as it does them.
Yesterday, a long-time client came in, and the first words out her mouth were, "Well, I'm a widow." Not unexpected, but a big life change for her. She barely held back the tears, and so did I.
So, after a quick stop at Walmart for the cat littler I forgot to get the other day, I came home and basically went through the motions of taking care of my cats, and withdrawing from 'reality' on the computer. By 8 PM, I was ready to sleep. Slept deeply until 11:30 PM...then woke up wide awake. I played computer games for about 3 hours, and finally got sleepy again, and got another 4 hours of sleep.
I've been feeling a little 'log-jammed' the last couple of days, so I decided on having a BPC this morning. The MCT oil never fails to loosen things up in my digestive system. But today, it was different.
In the bathroom every 30 minutes throughout the day, and some SERIOUS stomach cramping. Some were so bad that they doubled me over, and made me groan out loud.
Now I'm having computer problems. The system just shuts down.
Tomorrow will be a better day.
Love to you all,
~kes

Drat! I hit support and my comments flew away. My name isPaula. I've been following you for a while and have admired your personal journey. What brings me to you tonight is seeing your calorie Ct? I don't understand how you can keep your metabolic rate up with 350 calorie intake? I know you're on a lo carbs ketogenic diet. So does that mean high fat, high protein w/o calorie restriction? I've seen so many people listing this as their diet but as many variations. It seems like it's approached in stages? From the site content I read? Myself, I'm really doing behavior modification for my 'sugar addiction'. Been hooked on the refined carbs...cakes, pie, pastries...and had the money to buy what I wanted making it worse. So I'm on 1200cals 1 gm protein per kg of body wt. or 84gms/day. Balance of calories distributed to carbs and fats. It's basic. Lo cal, lo carb, lo fat and maintenance protein. I've lost 41lbs since 2/2017 so ok 😌 about that. Sustainability is important to me at 63 y/o. I travel and eat out a lot and want to have to eat carefully when I'm out or away from home rather then differently. I also really have to work on my behavioral issues or as it has so many times? The weight loss will reverse itself the minute I sign off from FatSecret and say 'whew, that's done'. Because we both know that it's never going to be done. It's part of everyone of our lives. Hope to hear from you. Best regards. Paula

All our electronic devices emit stimulating blue light that will keep us awake. When I awaken in the middle of the night, I stay off all devices and read a "real" book or say the Holy Rosary. (I'm a practicing Catholic.) Either will quiet my brain enough that I get drowsy and go back to sleep.

Some days just need to be written off as not good. That sounds like one of them. Your reaction to the BPC doesn't sound like you, though - I hope you're feeling better now 🤗
