I have been MIA for a couple of weeks.

Went to Disney last week, stayed on Keto for the first day or so, but fell off pretty quickly. Had TONS of fun and really enjoyed my vacation! Came back and, despite walk 3-5 times more per day than normal, I stepped on the scale, up 5.5lbs 😳 I believe I was dehydrated most of the time I was there and strongly suspect most of that gain was water weight.

Went back to strict Keto this week and am proud to say I've lost all that I gained, plus another pound.

Not that I suggest abandoning all efforts while on vacation, but if there is a setback, just get back on that horse and work hard, you can get back on track!
175.6 lb Lost so far: 18.1 lb.    Still to go: 35.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I have been on vacation the past week, schools out, enjoyed our trip immensely (cruise to Alaska)! Of course food is everywhere including desserts! I did so well before the trip, I was under 200 for the first time in probably 3 years, I was so proud of me. And now I'm back up to 207 ( at least). I'm sad and feel terrible. All those bad self feelings are back. I know I need to start over, get back on track. I tell myself everyday but I put non protein crap in my face. Why is it we (I) make poor choices when the outcome is known? You would think all that positive would be enough for me to jump back on?!! AND being on a cruise would've, should've been easy to stay on plan because I had access to proteins all day everyday! It's the willpower I'm sorely missing. Someone give me something that will click in my head. Please

It took me a few days home from vacation to get myself back in gear. I didn't want to be "off" my vacation right away, but I just reminded myself how great those small victories were, how much better I felt, both physically and mentally. I really had to force it the first few days back, but you'll get back into your habit. You can do this, you already did it before, you've got this!

When we let ourselves down we tend to beat ourselves up afterwards...no time for that now. What is done is done. You now have more important work to do so get to it fast. Don't spend your time regretting mistakes made- learn from them instead and get back to the job you really know is most important. Remind yourself, "I've Got This!" Never give up, never quit! Good luck.
