Goin2Hawaii's Journal, 15 February 2012

Getting ready to get SOAPy with the family. (That's a Bible study method!) We're studying our way through the book of Acts right now.
The weather seems really nice, so I think I'll walk into town this afternoon and visit the library with my girls.
The guys are tearing apart the upstairs bathroom ... they started at 10:30 last night! ... gotta pick up a new subfloor and adhesive today. They will be completely redoing the floor, putting in a new sink/vanity and toilet. They'll have to replace part of the walls too. When they took out the old vanity, they found a date written on the floor: May 6, 1963 AD. Very cool!
This house was built for the town doctor in the late 1930's ... the real estate company swears it was built in the 1950's, but the wiring and neigbors who grew up here know different! Our one neighbor used to come here for his check-ups as a child (he's in his late 70's!). Gotta love the history!
Well, enough rambling for today. It's time to accomplish all the things I need to accomplish for the day. =)
