Well we got some snow, but not as bad as they were predicting. So no cartwheels. Too bad.

Joe and I went to our friends' house last night, we ate turkey sliders and watched some How I Met Your Mother and Freaks and Geeks. We had a lot of fun. I tried reverse psychology on the snow, but it didn't work. I'm just happy that Joe and I were able to open our front door this morning without the snow pouring into our apartment. I woke up extremely late for me (about 11:30) and he had already been outside to shovel. I was happy, because it's really cold and windy.

Today is just going to be a lazy day, I think. We're going to watch movies and try to figure out dinner. I had a high calorie day yesterday, so I'm going to try and keep it low for today and tomorrow. I want to be able to be in the 160s still sometime soon (I'm hoping for Wednesday), so I would like to get some exercise in, but the weekends make me so lazy. I made some sugar free, fat free white chocolate pudding for dessert. I'm excited to partake in that little treat tonight.

I'm not going anywhere near a grocery store because all of the crazy people with their snow mentality will just drive me crazy, so we're going to have to make due with what he and I have in house. Not much because Saturdays are usually my food shopping day. I'm sure we'll be fine. This, however, may mentally set me up for a fast, which is something I've been contemplating. Lent is coming and I'm trying to think of something to give up. I'm not overly religious, but maybe I can give up something that will be both a sacrifice and will help my diet. Something that I really miss. I'm planning on not eating meat through out lent, just fish, and see how that goes, instead of just on Fridays. I need the protein.

Here is my 5 for the day:

5. Having the ability to sleep WAY in on the weekends
4. A wonderful boyfriend who did all the shoveling.
3. Friends who will have a good time with me, and support me on my journey at the same time
2. Starting to see a different in my body and because of that a difference in my mentality
1. Laughing, just for the sake of laughing.

I am beyond jealous of you - sleeping till 11.30?!? My youngest woke me up at 5 this morning. I wasn't pleased. lol Sounds like you had a fun night, and followed by a "lazy saturday" sounds perfect. Have a great weekend!
