Chris1979's Journal, 04 February 2010

Man I was disappointed today. No drop on the scale. :( I guess I'm not going to get to 142 by tomorrow. Oh well. I can't be mad at myself because I did everything right. I stayed in my points. I drank lots of water. I exercised. My body just must really not want to lose more than 2 lbs per week!

On a positive note a girl in one of my classes is doing WW now too with me! She said, "if you are doing it I'll do it too." It made me feel good that I had inspired someone. :)

I'm very excited because my best friend, who lives in California (I live right outside of Philly) is coming to visit in early March, when I'm on spring break from school. The last time we hung out in November I weighed ~157. If I keep losing 2 lbs per week, I'll be 20 lbs skinnier when she and her boyfriend arrive for their visit.

THREE THINGS I'M GRATEFUL FOR TODAY:
1) It's PAYDAY
2) A huge snowstorm this weekend so I can stay home and relax!
3) More and more of my wardrobe is FITTING :)

Have a great day friends!!!

I like your additude - you know you did everything right, so theres no need to get discouraged. The weight will come off, and you never know, it could be muscle weight from your exercising. Have a great day!!

BTw I went to Philly last year and your phillies beat my dodgers for the second straight year, and it looks like they reloaded again they should be favorites again!

I do love my Phillies... but I'm very sad we gave up Lee! That guy was a powerhouse. Pitching has been our downfall of late. We actually named our dog Howie... after Ryan Howard! :)

Lee was a tough Phillie I glad he's out of the national league! I met Ryan Howard what a great guy! The ballpark was amazing too

I love the third one of your grateful list. That's such a great feeling. 2 lbs. a week is a perfect rate of loss. Keep it going and you'll be that much thinner by then for sure! I think to lose more it would be really unhealthy and you'd really have to starve yourself and work out like they do on The Biggest Loser. Who has time for that?

I love your list too! Chris don't worry about the scale. You are doing what you should be doing and it will happen for you. Be patient and keep it up
