Yesterday we went to a birthday party (my partners cousins 30th birthday - very scary! Makes me realise that we aren't that far off 30)

As expected, it was party food galore - quiche, sausage rolls, crisps, garlic bread plus loads of other tasty tasty (but very naughty) foods. I knew what was coming so I made sure to eat only a light breakfast to give me plenty of calories.

I didn't eat that much food, but as usual with party food the amount of calories was rather high. I consumed just under 1000 calories in party food (an estimate, but I don't think it would be far off). I skipped dessert even though it looked delicious. This left me about 300 calories.

All in all not a bad day, stayed within my limit and I had enough so I didn't feel hungry. Looking forward to "real" food today.
