Up at 3:00 again this morning for a 3.3 mile run on the treadmill. Spent a couple hours yesterday evening moving our first snowfall away from the building and plowing the alley. Quite an abrupt and harsh shift in the weather, considering it's been in the 40's and 50's almost all month thus far; it's 14F now and going down to 6F tonight.
No weight loss this week, but no real surprise. I've pretty much (unintentionally) been in the maintenance mode, eating above my RDI, but still a few less calories than I have been burning. I expect to be running more and consuming less calories as time goes on. I already burn more in my morning workouts than I eat for breakfast; it's the late night, just before bed, snacking that sabotages my eating plan. I'll do better this week; need to quit letting my emotions dictate my eating patterns. I take a rest from running tomorrow, with a 4.25 mile run scheduled for Sunday morning. Haha! I guess I should have mentioned that I plowed the alley with the tractor. :) So, even though I was freezing my tootsies off in the biting wind and snow, I wasn't doing much 'manual' labor. Supposed to be up around 50F Monday again - but only for a day or so. They have a saying here in Illinois, "If you don't like the weather here, give it a day or so; it'll change."

I think it is great doing your workouts in the morning because as we all know that starts your metabilsm and burns your food quicker than if you eat first. I mention this only because i am starting to pay attention to my weight loss after christmas, so i am on high alert today. Looking forward to my walk soon. Sazy

Evenings get me as well! Because there's more free time, less routine. I just try to drink masses of water now!
