I had a good day today...got lots done and ate healthier choices instead of giving into cravings...grocery shopping today, I bought more fruit and less crap...the wifey said there is no sense in me changing and them not, so everyone gets the healthier choices...I hope my 13yo daughter will follow the diet and not eat junk, I'm not going to purchase the tempting treats any longer...but she does have her own money, but hopefully that will limit her junk food intake...I do worry about her and don't want her to have to put up with the "fat jokes" like I did...

I'll have to have a conversation with her about healthy eating...

Later.

I think we can only do so much when it comes to limiting the kids' junk intake. However, we can teach them the enjoyment of better foods by being a good example, cook right etc. In the beginning they might gripe (I've experienced that first hand, kinda), but they get won over after a while when they discover how much better they feel. Make sure to tell them about it or they just might not notice. :)
