*Starshine*'s Journal, 18 January 2017

A better day at last. Despite a third night of coughing-without-sleeping on the sofa (voluntarily, so at least hubby can get some sleep), I worked from 9 am. Actually got some proper work done and was so pleased that I went out for a rather energetic walk, only to spend the next hour at home coughing my brains up again. Hopefully, the fresh air, exercise and endorphins will still have done me some good anyway. My appetite's back again too, which is something I never thought I'd actually be pleased about but I so am. I was beginning to feel distinctly feeble. :-)

Thanks, Bowd. As my first day out of bed since (ironically) Fri 13th, it's been pretty exhausting. JockoT, I can't tell you how sorry I am that you might be coming down with something too. That carol should surely be changed to 'Tis The Season to be Sickly...
