I am so darn irritated!! I GAINED 2 lbs and kept my calories and carbs extremely low all week! I went to a graduation party yesterday and said no to homemade ice cream and 3 different kinds of cake, and then register a gain?? What the heck? Actually I am MAD! At first I thought "you just shuoulda had the cake!" But that is over with now, I know I have done what I need to do, and just need to keep on track. My body will respond with a big drop soon I hope. But in the meantime I am just mad!
181.0 lb Lost so far: 84.0 lb.    Still to go: 46.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

I find gains and losses take a few days to register.Your hard work will pay off and you can treat yourself with a non-food reward like a massage or get you nails done or buy some new clothes or what ever rewards you in a positive way.

It's maddening to see gains that have no apparent rhyme or reason. You'll drop them soon enough. Congrats for staying strong against the temptation!

"you should have had the cake" ..lol Rhontique, my brain does the same, inside it's like: "fk another gain, I should have had that (fill in whatever pastry here)" .It's OK, body is weird but you still did great refusing the stuff, cheer up have a palm on your back for doing the right thing and keep on moving lady! :)

Are you drinking at least 8 - 12 oz glasses of water per day?

Thanks everyone. I'm drinking more like 48-50 oz a day. I'll work on getting in more water. And to add insult to injury, today I'm hungry. Sometimes life is a puke sandwich!!

Must be water weight. Do you keep an eye on salt/sodium intake? That some to always do it for me.

I wouldn't worry about it. I have gained weight even when I have done a fast. Your body know when and what to hang on to. Some times when I cheat I loose. so go figure.

Oh Lord! ...a puke sandwich...now thats a visual. Lol! I admire your strength for not giving in to the desserts. You'll get that reward later when you drop again. Nothing tastes as good as losing, i think. Keep smiling.
