Hurricane Hermine kept me so busy I was at work 94 hrs this week. my food was not prepared as I have been doing. there was no time for me at all this week.all I can do is get back on the horse and move on.

I am so disappointed that even though I was in a stressful situation, I didn't handle it real well as far as me taking care of myself.
Lesson learned for sure.
259.0 lb Lost so far: 12.0 lb.    Still to go: 119.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

Holy cow! A 94 hour work week will derail anybody! You're due for some down time and some take care of you time.

Stress causes weight gain. I gained 10 lbs the week of my husband's car accident eating an occasional salad or yogurt.

You can get right back into the string of things just let yourself know when the day is to start. I fall down or off but thankfully I'm smart enough to catch it and get back up or on... I feel that is success, seeing I can just stay down and watch my thighs guy and arms balloon again. No. Thank. You. 🙃

Thank you all for the comments, I had a great day today , I got some rest and had time with my family. My son's used today to cook their food for the week , I will use sunday for my weekly prep to get back on track. Have a great Sunday all.

I understand stress and weight gain, you can be doing things right and still those pesky pounds creep on! Plus the Hurricane, it was stressful for me also. I hope you weren't hit hard and I'm so thankful for friends that were supportive during this time. I also went off but now I"m back on track. I really NEED to be on this site at least every other day if not EVERY day! To help keep things straight in my mind. I also go to an OA meeting either 1 or 2 times a week, something I stopped for a few times. It is good to have people there and here that understand what we are going through :-) Sometimes friends and family just don't GET IT!

Disappointment is a bitter pill. Stress can affect us in so many ways. I am confident that you will receive an unexpected loss one of these days to make up for this disappointment. Have a blessed week.
