I am feeling great this time on my weight loss plan, I am sticking to it and losing. I wish I would exercise like my sons continue to badger me about! but I know my body.
I had a stroke and I don't feel that I'm ready to exercise yet . I am losing I bought a trampoline for my exercise I did it one time since I bought it. I have a fear of getting to worked up while exercising and stroking out , I have tried to do it but I don't have it in me yet.
My stoke was a few years ago but all I have done is work in my office job no real movement.
I promise my self when I am ready I will do it and I am going to start by walking my Chihuahua as a start. she will love it I'm sure.

You could try some exercise hold on to the back of a chair on sitting it. While sitting do some arm raises with soup cans or 1# weights, leg raise and heel toe. Just 5 of each to start. I'm rooting for you! : >)

I would get an activity tracker w a heart rate monitor. That way you can track your activity and keep an eye on your heart rate. And I do think there r certain foods to avoid as well. Good luck and yes DMZur had great options. I'm rooting for u too!! Oh and I'm sure u could google weight loss for stroke victims.

Numerous studies have shown that exercise, while great for toning, cardiac health, and building muscle, is really of minimal benefit in weight loss. Walking is the best thing you can do, even if it's down the driveway and back. But sticking to your plan, logging every bite, and not cheating will do far more good.

I use a recumbent bike for exercise. I had a stroke also several years back. To pass the time on the bike, I use my Galaxy pad and watch something on you tube. That works for me. I have balance and pain issues, thus trouble walking. Sticking to your eating plan and recording is so good though. Hang in there.

I agree w msk. Some on here who have a lot to lose, do not excerise at all but do the Keto thing and they have dropped weight like crazy.

I had a heart attack and a couple of mini strokes. It's hard to get over the fear of exercising and having something happen. I was gardening yesterday and started to have vision problems so stopped. Moderation is key. Walk your dog. Best luck to you
