Ive gotten some great advice and support from everyone these last two days and Im grateful. Bc ive been struggling and questioning my goals and myself alot lately and for no good reason really. Im going to give it one more shot. However, Im not going to aim for super low carb. Im aiming for maintenance level 40 net, yogurt, nuts and berries low carb. Im going to give it two weeks and if I cant get thru two weeks then its time to move on. You can lead horse to water right. I think what gets me is the cravings for sweets. SO lets have some sweet berries with yogurt. Let have some cottage cheese with cherry tomatoes. Lets have a V8. I might switch to south beach if this doesn't work which I like also .. And for the record, im no so much worried about losing as I am maintaining bc I dont ever want to be over 200 lbs again.. Happy Friday buddies. Love and hugs to every one

The most important thing is to find what works for YOU! I am confident you will; girlfriend, you continue to inspire me to do better! Onward!

Sounds like a great plan. And while you are thinking of sweet deliciousness...how about a fresh peach with cottage cheese and a sprinkling of cinnamon???? That my "I don't think I can make it one more minute without something sweet" goto.

Atkins Lifetime Maintenance is a great way to eat, it allows back most whole foods and if you decide to go off plan for a meal or two you'll be fine. 116 pounds, Red, you're the boss of this.

I think maintenance is a good thing to work on - personally I'm not very good at it. I've hit my goal weight a few times, then kind of "relaxed" and gained it all back - grrrrr (angry face)! All I know is, if I only ate berries & yogurt for my "sweet tooth" I'd probably be alot thinner, LOL! My co-worker has lost 20 lbs by doing just that, trading in the baked sweets for fruit & yogurt - so I think you can do this!

You have to figure out what works for you and what you can stick with. I love my whole foods and it is working for me. This is all trial and error. Nothing wrong with adjusting this or that to make it work.

If you are going to do V8 make you own. Homemade is the best. :)
