Ok new day, new week, new motivation (hopefully).

I tried so many diets, and so many "lifestyle changes" with no luck. My new post-partum mommy body needs a reset button! Instead of the no carb, no sugar, no fat, no blah blah blah that everyone recommends I am going to do a version of all diets I've tried mixed in with my recommended healthy-thyroid foods to see if I can figure out my own body-specific diet.

So my goal is this. I will count calories but eat only high quality foods. I will still steer clear of sugars like sodas. I will pay attention to the quantities of foods that I eat. And I will get on the damn gazelle!

I am desperate for a change. I really hope I don't quit again.

Doing it your way gives you sense of control, and you have health concerns to consider that complicates choices. Find your balance and do your thing. Hope it goes well.
