I did it from 308 to 160 in 1 day short of 14 months. No longer diabetic and no diabetic medication for almost 5 months now doing handsprings all around the house too bad I can't have cake to go out and celebrate. now the hard part comes just maintaining at least for 6 months
160.0 lb Lost so far: 198.1 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

WOW!! Only way to maintaining weight loss is to continue keeping track what you eat and of course all the things you have done so far. CONGRATULATIONS on your hard work...now do it for a healthy life!!

I know maintenance will be no issue for you BB (not sayin it's easy)....I've watched you power through plateaus, master your upper body work, all your walking and perseverance, fix your Type 2 DB, etc...you know I'm impressed!! So happy for you!

Nothing wrong with a slice of cake if you don't go psycho and eat it every day. Nobody says being healthy means completely depriving yourself every day of the rest of your life. You know how to control Glucose now. You know what made you fat, what caused the diabetes. And you know the truth of it all. Enjoy life.
