Welcome! If you hang in here, you will receive lots of support and suggestions...food for thought. I believe most feel this site has high RDI and follow considerably less, I personally pay more attention to the ratio of carb, fat and protein. Love the little pie shape at the bottom of the kcal recording page :)

If you're looking for a good calculator check out http://www.iifym.com/iifym-calculator/. In my experience I find it very accurate. That said it is a struggle to improve your metabolism to the point where you can regain control over weight-gain and -loss. Good luck!
