Glad the carrots are working for you. I hated eating salads w/o them. I rarely do cooked carrots (unless it's in soup).

Icy-I am not fond of cooked carrots but I wanted to try one of his favorite meals so I had a few :) He will even take the time to measure out my stuff if he dishes my plate for me, especially if I am busy with the kids' plates or something :) I was amazed at how sweet they tasted raw after not eating them for so long lol

Nice BF. I wish my man were that supportive! You will certainly make your goal will all the support you're getting.

Icy- At the beginning he had said he would try to start Atkins too but he never did, that's ok though because when he comes over he doesn't try to make me eat anything I can't or if it's something I can't have he will eat it at his house before coming over. He pretty much eats low carb when he is with me :)

That's so sweet. My family has sort of been hijacked into low carb (cause they are too darn lazy to cook for themselves) Except my hubby, who refuses anything healthy.

I am working on the kids, my 1 year old will eat anything but my 4 year old is very picky...looks alone makes her decisions of whether or not she will eat it. It's a work in progress so there are a few things like chicken nuggets in my freezer but she's got to eat something on those nights she won't eat what I make...

My wife refuses to eat anything healthy, so we get carbs and carbs for dinner,.

I figure as my daughter gets older her taste buds will change and hopefully she will learn to try new things :)

Fess: Good to know I'm not the only one even though it's hard for us that way. Missy, my mom had a rule that I had to try everything once, and if i didn't like it I never had to have it again. That worked for me, so I always still try out new foods. Maybe you can tell her if to try something and if she doesn't like it you will give her one of her favorite foods instead?

That is what I do, at least one bite of everything. Sometimes she will settle if there's something like ranch on it so if she is willing to eat it then I don't have a problem with it :)
