Back from my long day and ended up not even getting lunch in. Went to DQ for dinner and had a grilled chicken salad. But for the first time ever in 3 months I cheated a little and had a Strawberry DeLIGHT smoothie. It's made with Splenda but I haven't checked what it did for my carbs yet...not to mention that it is fruit and I have not entered Phase 2 yet. If it makes me gain...oh well I am not mad at myself for doing it. It was kinda a birthday thing for my children's biological father too so I dunno I just don't feel terrible for this kind of a cheat. We will see what the scale does and see how my body feels tomorrow.

Since last Feb my slips which weren't really slips were 3 slices of birthday cake.....(not all is one sitting lol one piece in July and two in Aug......) they did a little damage but I figure if that is the worst I do I just get back on track the next day and put it behind me, without adding to my behind which is what has always happened in the past.........Don't look back......

I really don't know if the carb count is correct for what I put in my calendar but oh well. It definitely won't be an every day occurrence. I know it won't be the death of me and it truly wasn't the worst thing I could have eaten. So here's to a yummy fruit smoothie and right back on track tomorrow :)

Missy - Don't beat yourself up over a slip. It is especially hard when you skip a meal. When I get that hungry I'm bound to eat anything. And at least the fruit smoothie had some nutritious strawberries in it.

I also wouldn't worry about that. I don't think anyone on here has been 100% strict on our plans. The key is not to let it go on and to get right back on plan right away. Sometimes by slipping up you find foods that don't affect your loss that you thought they might. I was so worried eating a banana would make me gain, but eating 1/2 of it for 2 days and I still lost so you never know!

Buffy- That's why I didn't really feel too bad about my cheat choice, I was sitting DQ so you know there were MANY worse choices for me lol. The smoothie also had bananas in it but to be honest I probably needed the potassium. I have always has issues with charlie horses. Icy-I don't know if it will hit right away but from my weight yesterday I am only up .4 and that's right when I woke up. I think I know in another 3 months I may cheat again...not because of New Years, but because my anniversary is the 2nd of January and my Mom will be in town and said she would take the kids. I believe alcohol will probably be a factor that night :) I'm not a beer drinker so it will probably be more like a wine cooler or something lol

My cheats normally are alcohol every weekend I have to talk myself out of that one to many glasses of wine or the budweiser 55 beer.

I don't really want to the cheat day thing at least until I'm way closer but my anniversary will be a big day especially with what my boyfriend and I have gone through so I think another cheat 3 months away will be totally ok :)
